Job Description – SVP Publisher Development

Duration Media is an advertising technology solutions company.  We design products that generate real incremental revenue and profits for publishers, SSP’s and DSP’s. 

Duration Media is an approved Google Channel Partner and a finalist in the Digital Advertising 2021 Drum Awards.  Over 400 premium publishers currently use Duration Media technology globally.

This position will be responsible for driving revenue for our latest product, Vaa$™ (viewability as a service).  Vaa$™ is a tool for publishers to optimize their high funnel direct and programmatic campaigns.  The technology increases a sites 85% viewable supply of impressions on average by +49%, reduces opportunity costs and increases overall yields between 20%-45%.  Vaa$™ can be configured to work within a publisher’s instance of GAM and or to include demand from Duration Media’s instance of GAM. 

Your existing relationships, reputation and credibility can provide a foot in the door to new publishers.  Your knowledge of supply path optimizations, 3rd party re-seller’s vs direct sellers combined with the skills to evaluate a publishers ad stack will determine when Duration Media is a good fit and your ability to be successful.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience for 6+ years
  • 2 years of experience working in digital advertising or analytics
  • 2 years of client-facing experience, customer service or account management with track record of achieving quarterly goals
  • 2 years of experience in one or more: selling publishers technology solutions, operations, platform integrations, account management, data analysis

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous experience at Google, Facebook or publisher development with major SSP or ad ops provider
  • Experience with Google API’s
  • Revenue generating experience with medium to large publisher(s)
  • 2 years of experience working in digital advertising or analytics
  • 2 years of client-facing experience, customer service or account management with track record of achieving quarterly goals
  • 2 years of experience in one or more: selling publishers technology solutions, operations, platform integrations, account management, data analysis

Responsibilities

  • Drive new publisher onboarding of Duration Media revenue generating technology solutions
  • Develop forward-thinking recommendations based on data driven analysis of publisher ad stack that align with publisher goals
  • Quantify and prioritize high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations
  • Develop excellent customer-facing relationships in publishers’ platform teams, including technical stakeholders who own roadmap decisions and product launch processes
  • Serve as liaison with partner regarding new product launches and advertising opportunities while ensuring that partners are satisfied with their business growth
  • Identify and promote additional opportunities for partners to retain and grow their existing customer portfolio
